We have begun the process of preparing our rooms for the remodel! This involved changing bedrooms and moving some furniture from the 2nd room into our master room (simply for lack of space). It sounds simple, but was a lot more work than we originally expected. Here are the finished products!
Our 2nd bedroom, now serving as our master bedroom during the remodel

Our master bedroom emptied of our bed stuff, but replaced with the office stuff.

In an attempt to do some 'spring cleaning' along with rearranging our bedrooms, we ventured into the dark recesses of.....our attic. And we actually put some stuff up there! (As well as accumulating a bunch of stuff for Goodwill.) David chopped up some boards to lay down in the attic for support on the beams, and also cut up the vanity top while he was at it. It fits much easier in the trash can now. :-)
David in action

We called the plumber last week, and he's going to come on over this Wednesday. Hopefully he'll be able to give us a good idea of what we're working with, and then -
DEMOLITION!We'll keep you posted!
By the way, today was a
beautiful day outside! We worked with the windows wide open, and as you can see from the photo of David cutting wood, it was bright and sunny. We reached 70 degrees! :-)
